  1. What is the Nawn?

It is 12,000 square feet of dedicated performance arts rehearsal space. It is a state of the art facility with 10 available studios ranging from 400 to 700 square feet. It is the place to plan your dance class, your improv sessions, your band practice, your yoga practice, your video shoot, your evening social. We have put this place together with you in mind, a gathering place to make a new creative home for you and all of yours.

  2. I have great idea I want to try at the Nawn. How can we make it happen?

Get in touch. We are always looking for new ideas for programs, events, and improvements. We love to hear from you, so write to us at hello@theNawn.org and tell us what you have in mind.

  3. How can I stay on top of the latest updates?

We have a mailing list. You can get all of the latest and greatest happenings at the Nawn, and around town. The news and events are curated with love from our team to you.

Maybe you are not ready to sign up though. Maybe you are still kicking the tires. Maybe you are just not an email person. We have you covered, my noncommittal friend. We keep an archive of past versions of our news letters just for you. Check it out; we bet that you will find something to love.

  4. Where are the usual social media networks?

A colleague once said, "We want to make friends, not followers."

Our team has many considerations about major social media networks, and we are sure that many of you do as well: limited control over what we see, too many ads, exaggerated emphasis on likes and shares, and not enough emphasis on substance and connection.

We are a cultural service first, and social media presence is a distant second. As much as possible, we want to break the cycle of scrolling and electronic addiction to foster real life engagement. To that end, we choose our preferred networks based on how well they fit our mission of connecting with our community, and connecting community members with each other.

Ultimately all of us use social networks, because our friends are there; we are forever grateful that you want to include the Nawn as a resource. The signal to noise ratio may change based on the the network operator, but we have you covered regardless of how you choose to connect to us.
